I wish I watched this game but was busy watching the only sport more rigged than the NBA last night. I don’t know if “Iron Mike” thought he’d get a Rocky-level ovation for going the distance like the end of the 2006 one, but that shit sucked.

But what didn’t suck was Brunson hitting a game winner then Mikal getting a game winning block. Not going to say it’s on the level of Lebron against Iggy (autocorrect can’t help me spell his name right), but it might be time to have the conversation. In all seriousness though, that’s why you trade five (5) first round picks for a defensive wing. You only do it if he can win you games with defense, and he literally did that.

On another note, Cam Thomas might actually be good. I mean, I knew he was “good”, but I thought he was some Zach LaVine-lite putting up good stats on bad teams. I’m starting to think he might legitimately be a really good scorer. Brunson even gave him ass tap and dap up mid celebration. Game recognize game.

Ariel Hukporti seems like he might be a real rotation piece too. Don’t want to get ahead of myself, but if he keeps looking good then we might not have to make this move to get another center everyone has been talking about. Or, at the very least, not need to sell the farm for a mediocre one. Listen, we probably still need to and I’m overhyping The Huk (Huk Tuah?), but Mitch was a 2nd round pick and iHart was a journeyman back up. So it’s not like it would be unheard.
