I just read a tweet from about an hour ago that OG has been ruled out — again — more than 24 hours before a game. You could say that it’s just because we’re facing the Pistons, but I really don’t like the fact this elbow injury is becoming a multi month thing. I really wanted this team to be able to really start to gel together before the playoffs, but it doesn’t look like that’ll happen — and that’s even assuming Mitch and Randle come back. I don’t want to be hysteric, but it’s been feeling like the start of horror movie where all this weird stuff starts happening, and no one takes it seriously. It could be fine… but the playoffs could also start and we have no Mitch, a hobbled Randle, and an injured OG who’s barely had a coffee with this team – all trying to come together against a sneaky Orlando Magic team.

Yes, I know that we’ve actually been good with the skeleton crew led by Brunson, but let’s not fool ourselves; we’re not competing for a championship while missing 3 of our 4 best players. The most frustrating thing is that the East is as wide open as ever, but again, maybe we get healthy. I just don’t have a good feeling.
